Oct 27: Health Cafes

The Kane County Health Department is hosting Community Cafes to identify health and human service needs in Aurora and improve the health of all Kane County residents.

The Café sessions, which will include a complimentary dinner and child care, will be held from 5:15-8 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 76 S. LaSalle St., Aurora on Oct. 20 and 27. There will be sessions in both English and Spanish on each night.

May 20: Churches unite for free service, dinner

AURORA, Ill.—Two Aurora United Methodist churches invite local residents to share food and fellowship Friday, May 20.
Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora, will host its annual spring Master’s
Meal . The free, public event will open at 3:30 p.m. with a chapel service led by Rev. Juancho C. Campanano, church pastor.
From 4 to 7 p.m., a dinner of ham and fried chicken, vegetables, desserts and beverages will be
served.
A co-sponsor is Aurora's Fourth Street UMC. Wesley UMC also hosts a winter Master's Meal in December.
