The purpose of the forum is to assist our community in resolving Academic Achievement as a hot-button issue of mutual concern in a respectful and non-confrontational manner. During the forum participants will:
- Weigh in on three approaches to tackling the gap in Academic Achievement
- Realize the advantages, costs, consequences and trade-offs of each approach
- Develop a common understanding of what is at issue
- Recognize complementary individual and collective actions that can be taken.
This community event is in conjunction with the Midwest Center For Civic Engagement.
