FREE MOVIES IN THE PARK ARE BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON
Families looking for affordable entertainment this summer can take advantage of free movie nights starting June 22 at Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Drive.
“Movies in the Park” features Hollywood-hit films on an outdoor big screen on select Saturday nights during the summer. Family-fun games, contests, and other pre-event activities will be held at 8 p.m., and the movies will start 30 minutes after sunset, which is between 9 and 9:15 p.m.
This season’s movie schedule includes:
· June 22 Rise of the Guardians (PG)
· July 6 Dolphin Tale (PG)
· July 20 Wreck- It- Ralph (PG)
· August 3 The Avengers (PG-13)
Movies will be shown on the big screen adjacent to the sledding hill and the skate/BMX park. Patrons should bring their own chairs, blankets and bug spray. The concession stand will be open, and parking is available at the Phillips Park Aquatic Center, 828 Montgomery Road.
